Youth on Record is committed to ensuring that Colorado’s youth graduate from high school and are ready to enter the workforce by leveraging creative, for-credit education that centers around music and the arts. The 2015 Real Rock Star Awards, held this Thursday, brought together both local and national musicians to honor Youth on Record’s most resilient and talented students.

As a sponsor of this year’s event, the Altitude Rockstars got dressed up and headed to the EXDO Event Center in Denver to cheer for these talented young musicians. The event awarded five individual “Rock Star” students who excelled throughout Youth on Record’s program. There was hardly a dry eye in the room as these brave, underprivileged children shared their thanks and inspiration for success. They also held a very special auction for music enthusiasts—a day-long, private music lesson and recording session with members of The Fray, Flobots, Ian Cooke, Esme Patterson and more.

We are very proud to have supported such a wonderful cause, and we look forward to following the careers of these amazing (and sure to be recognized) young musicians!
