The founding CEO of Denver-based Altitude Digital has stepped aside to let the online advertising company evolve into more of an ad-technology company under new leadership.

Jeremy Ostermiller, who started the company in 2009 with $500, stepped aside last month. He remains on the company’s board and is its majority owner, he said.

Joe Grover, a former venture capitalist who’d been Altitude Digital’s chief marketing officer, is Altitude Digital’s new CEO.
