LiveRail, Admeld and DoubleClick Veteran to Advise Makers of Leading Video Supply Side Platform

DENVER, CO–(Marketwired – Jun 29, 2015) – Altitude Digital, the largest independent video supply-side platform (SSP), today announced that programmatic marketing expert and ad tech veteran Brian Kane has joined the company’s board of directors. Kane is currently the COO of Sourcepoint, the first content compensation platform for premium publishers, and has held leadership positions at several leading advertising technology companies. He will be instrumental in advising Altitude’s executive team as the company further expands its cross screen video platform for publishers.

Before launching Sourcepoint, Kane served as COO of LiveRail, a video SSP acquired by Facebook in 2014. Prior to that, he was Chief Operating Officer at Admeld, a position he maintained after that company was acquired by Google. Before Admeld, Kane was Google’s Director of Publisher services, a role he took on after arriving in Google’s acquisition of DoubleClick. He has also served as an advisor for Mopub, an RTB platform acquired by Twitter, and ShinyAds, a self-serve advertising platform acquired by Rubicon Project.
